Direct Mail Marketing- How does it work?

Who mails the letters?

It is your responsibility to print and mail the letters. We have found that simple things make a difference in the response rate, things like: using a real stamp (as opposed to a postage machine), post office location, and a real signature on the letter.

How often should I mail?

You choose, but most of our clients will mail once a day. On Mondays, you can easily go back and retrieve several days including the weekend. If you miss a few days due to vacation, illness, or just being busy, it's easy to catch up.

Does it take long to put the mailings together?

It depends on the volume. For most of our clients, they will generate and print all the letters in the morning in about 5 to 10 minutes. After printing, the signing and stuffing the envelopes will take another 5 to 20 minutes depending on volume -- some clients do this immediately and some do this task later in the day when they want a break.

Can you get data that is not on CCAP - WCCA?

No, All of our product are based on public data available from CCAP

I have a great unique marketing idea? Can you develop it without making it public?

Many of our custom applications for clients are never advertised. Although we can assure you we would not advertise or mention your idea in our business operation, we can't stop anyone from asking us to develop a similar application. We basically understand that if we don't develop it, someone else will.

What is the pricing for your direct mail data?

We charge a monthly subscription fee based on the volume of data required to be processed by our servers. The typical cost for the subscription is a much lesser part than what you will spend in postage. A phone call will allow us to give you a quote.

What kind of commitment do you need?

No commitment, it's month to month. Direct mail advertising works -- we doubt you will cancel but that's always your option.

What practice areas do you offer?

We offer Wisconsin marketing data for a range of law practices including criminal defense direct mail, bankruptcy direct mail, direct mail for OWI/DUI/drunk driving offenses, and direct mail for traffic offenses. That's not an exhaustive list, so call us if you are interested in something else from the circuit courts in Wisconsin.

Can you tell me a little about your company?

Court Data Technologies LLC is an independent consulting and development firm focused on helping you find, understand, and analyze the wealth of information available within CCAP, Wisconsin's circuit court records. The court case data is publicly available via Wisconsin Circuit Court Access (WCCA), the website of the Consolidated Courts Automations Programs (CCAP), but is very limited in how it can be searched. We remove those limits. Our business is located in Madison on the Isthmus.

We have been in business since 2003, and in eleven years we have earned a reputation for expertise, dedication, professional conduct, and results. Our clients are attorneys, judges, government agencies, advocacy groups, newspapers, researchers, and others. We offer excellent references.
